Welcome to Gwangju Tourism Organization.

Gwangju, a hub city in the southwestern region in South Korea, is evolving into a 30 million urban users city in 2026, and is actively promoting new vitality projects to inspire fun and vitality.

Gwangju Tourism Organization was created as a new public enterprise in July 2023 by integrating the Kim Dae-jung Convention Center and the Gwangju Tourism Foundation to realize the ‘Exciting Tourism City Gwangju’.

Tourism means seeing the light. In other words, just as we learn new experiences through travel, our Gwangju Tourism Organization will achieve three innovations that change the landscape of Gwangju tourism.

First of all, we will improve the promotion system for structural innovation in Gwangju tourism, innovate visitor support system, and promote ultra-wide region tourism. In addition, we will do our best to develop and market Gwangju's unique products for tourism innovation, create Gwangju, a city of festivals, realize the T(tourism)-MICE platform for transforming into a stay-type tourism city, and foster local tourism companies. And, we will promote management innovation, such as enhancing financial soundness, strengthening tourism development functions, and upgrading the information delivery system.

Above all, we will pursue change and innovation from small things by establishing an organizational culture in which all members of the Gwangju Tourism Organization communicate, consider and respect each other as a TEAM.

Gwangju Tourism Organization will take the lead in realizing the Gwangju Tourism Dream, which paints a new future of 100 years.
